About Beit Ussishkin Museum

Beit Ussishkin is a nature and history museum and was also established to research these matters. The museum is situated on the Dan Kibbutz which is right beside the Dan Nature Reserve and the Baniyas and right by the biblical Dan antiques.

בית אוסישקין הוא מוזיאון לטבע והיסטוריה,וכן,מוסד למחקר בנושאים אלה. המוזיאון שוכן בקיבוץ דן, סמוך לשמורות הדן והבניאס וליד עתיקות דן המקראית. במקום שמורים אוספים של בעלי חיים, פרפרים ושאר חרקים,דגים, דו חיים, זוחלים, עופות ויונקים עם דגש מיוחד של שפע העופות שבאזור. תערוכה מיוחדת מוקדשת לחיי האדם באזור בתקופת המקרא, מבוססת על ממצאי שלושים שנות חפירה בתל דן היא ליש המקראית.
