Moshav Aniam is a moshav, situated in the centre of the Golan Heights, some 6 kilometers south-east of Katzrin, above the Judea Nature Reserve and overlooking the Sea of Galilee. The name of the moshav has its origins in the Bible - Aniam was the Head of the Tribe of Menashe in this area in Biblical times.
At Aniam there is a spring which flows between the ancient fig trees, creating a cool, shady beauty-spot. At the Artists' Colony in the moshav, you can visit a variety of galleries and workshops; enjoy the restaurants and pubs and also the Herb Farm.
Historical sites such as Gamla and Ancient Katzrin are only about 10 minute's drive away. Also only a short drive away are the Eden Springs, the Yehudiah Nature reserve, the Jordan Park and Meshushim Pool (a unique geological phenomenon), the Zavitan River and the Ayit and Jilabon Waterfalls. There are many other attractions nearby, including, the shores of the Sea of Galilee, Mount Hermon, the Hula Valley Nature Reserve, and Hamat Gader (spa complex with hot, mineral springs).
