Arad is a town situated in the heart of the desert which is 20 minutes away from the lowest place on earth, the Dead Sea. It is surrounded by cliffs and canyons and very close by to magical caves and other beautiful spots in the Negev Desert. Here we have 4 lovely accommodation units (for up to 17 guests) suitable for couples, families and groups. All the units have a bedroom, living room, kitchen with utensils, air conditioning and television. In the courtyard you can enjoy a lovely green garden with seating areas and a barbeque corner.

Very nice place
This place is really good and with reasonable price. If you have a car you can simply travel to Dead Sea or just go for a walk in a desert :) Owner is friendly and helpful. We stayed here for one night, but I'd like to come back again some time.

מצויין לטיולי מדבר
רצינו לטייל במדבר החורפי באיזור ערד, לבוא לישון במקום נקי, ריחני ומטופח, ולשלם סביר, כי רצינו להגיע בערב מאוחר ולצאת בבוקר מוקדם! אבי קיבל אותנו במאור פנים, עם מפות של מסלולי טיול באיזור, חיוך ועוגה. המקום של אבי יושב על ערוץ של נחל טביה המקום שבחרנו לטייל בו: כ-10 ק"מ טיול,המדבר: פרוש לרגלי חדר 4 שקיבלנו! בבוקר קנינו מצרכים במכולת הקרובה, אכלנו כיד המלך וטילנו ממש מהחדר עד מאגורת כידוד ועלינו למצפור גורני,ארבע וחצי שעות במסלול כחול וירוק -נפלא!!! חזרנו ואספנו את חפצינו ולמרות שכבר החלו לנקות את הצימר אביקו הסכים לנו לשבת לכוס קפה! מארח למופת מומלץ בחום! תודה אביקו

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Avi Cohen ist sehr freundlich und hat uns sehr geholfen. Das Appartement ist ger?umig und sehr sauber. Das Haus liegt am Rand von Arad, man ist zu Fu? schnell in der W?ste. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell am Toten Meer und Massada. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

המלצה חמה על הצימרים "נוף למדבר"
חברים אני רוצה לפתוח בכך שאם החלטנו לרשום המלצה, זה כבר אומר רבות. במהלך הסופ"ש האחרון היינו בים המלח ובמצדה. בתחילה התעניינו בלינה במלונות ים המלח וגילינו כי המחירים גבוהים מאוד (ואף אינם שפויים). חשבנו איך להוזיל משמעותית את החופשה ועדיין לממש את החופשה המיוחלת. בהמלצת חברים הגענו לצימרים "נוף למדבר" אשר מצויה מרחק של 20 דקות מים המלח ו 15 דקות ממצדה, בחירה זו הביאה לכך שחסכנו מעל 2,500 שח, אז נכון שהמיקום אינו על ים המלח ואין זה תנאי מלון מפואר של 5 כוכבים אבל כפי שהזכרנו קודם חסכנו המון כסף, הגענו לצימר באזור שקט ואינטימי שרק האזור המדברי יכול להשרות ובנוסף חשנו אווירה ביתית ומשפחתית בזכות היחס החם של אבי והמענה לכל צרכינו(אבי שוב תודה).

Our stay at Cohen House was one of the nicest of our visit to Israel. We were in Israel for 2 12 months and found Avi to be a gracious host. The apartment was cozy and clean. I would recommend a stay at Cohen House if you need a place near Masada.

נוף למדבר- בית כהן
אני, בעלי וילדיי היינו בצימר שני לילות ונהנינו מכל רגע. האווירה היתה קסומה והמקום ממש ממש מרשים. הצימרים מקסימים ביותר והכי חשוב- נקיים ואפילו מריחים נהדר! הבעלים של המקום, אבי בחור כל כך נחמד, נעים ומחוייך וזה שווה הכל בעצם. אנחנו בטוח עוד נחזור וממליצים בחום לכל מי שמטייל באיזור הדרום

Couldn't be better!
Avi could not have been more accommodating. He drove to meet us and escort us to his place. It was clean, quiet and nice. We ate our breakfast on the back patio. He made reservations for us for dinner and his son lead us there.
It was a pleasant experience and one I would wish on anyone.

החדרים אכן פשוטים, אך חמים ונעימים. ובעל הבית- נשמה טהורה, אכן חם ואדיב. היה כיף אופירה בשם רוכבות שהם ( אופנים)
