בת שלמה Bat Shlomo –
Bat Shlomo is a moshav in northern Israel. Located on the southern slopes of Mount Carmel near Binyamina and Zikharon Ya’akov, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hof HaCarmel Regional Council.
The village was established in 1889 as a daughter-settlement of Zichron Ya'akov, funded by Baron Rothschild, and was named after Betty Salomon, the daughter of Salomon Mayer von Rothschild (the Baron's uncle and grandfather). In 1951 a moshav was established by Transylvanian and Yemenite immigrants adjacent to the original village.
Today the moshav’s economy comes from agriculture and its cattle however most of its residents work independently.
The Moshav is surrounded by beautiful nature with forests and streams and north of the moshav is Mount Horshen which is very popular with tourists for its cycling and field driving routes.
The moshav has a few Zimmers suitable for couples and families.
